at Gordons House 22 April 1981). The author appears to have forgotten to sign his name, so added the and signed the book at the bottom of the page. A good example of the author's enduring eccentricity. The exact publication date is not known, but this seems to be an early copy. Near fine in very good, price clipped dustjacket with a couple of small tears. Regarded by many as one of the great British books of the twentieth century.
